Man Manages To Burn Turkey Beyond Recognition, And Twitter Is Astounded

The success of a Thanksgiving dinner spread lies solely on the turkey's shoulders. Yes, side dishes can be amazing, and you might love desserts and your grandma's "world famous" mac and cheese more than a slow-cooked giant bird, but that's besides the point.
The turkey is the star of the show, and don't you ever forget it. The Family isn't here for that canned cranberry sauce -- they want the GOOD stuff.
Which is why it's such a bummer when you head to a Thanksgiving dinner, cut into the ball of meat in the middle of the table and realize that it's dry. You do your best to make it palatable. You douse it into gravy, put some mashed potatoes on other pieces and spread some cranberry sauce on it in between sips of water to get the protein down.
We've all been there, and it's not like anyone's going to say anything, so you just get through it and wonder when dessert's gonna start getting set up. No big deal. (Maybe they just will host it next year)
But some turkeys are so overcooked that there's no way to save them. Not amount of sauce or gravy or anything is going to make the thing edible, like this Twitter user's ruined Thanksgiving bird.

How is the turkey charred but there's still juice in the pan lmao this took a special type of skill

Mac and cheese it is
— FreeRangeBison (@Freerangebison) November 23, 2017Can he be trusted with the Mac & Cheese? I think that he should be limited to opening the Can of cranberry sauce. If he can do that, maybe he can allowed bake the rolls in 10 years
— Bruinlover (@bruinlover09) November 23, 2017There's always that one Chinese food spot open during Thanksgiving. Not sure General Tso's goes so well with stuffing and sweet potatoes, though.
